  • Corona LUT

You can always recognize a Corona rendering. They have this warm earth tone to them, and it's not a simple Photoshop warmth photo filter. Is it done in their frame buffer? Can it be reproduced in PS?

Corona comes with loads of built in LUT files so assume its those

I have many all of them in PS, but nothing seems even close.

I feel the corona's sun and sky colours are quite different to those of Vray, as you say the sun is warmer

95% of the Corona images I see are interiors, so I don't think it's the sun, but maybe?

Side by side with no corrections the images are more or less identical (from my very very quick tests). The filmic controls and LUTs are where corona shines in the VFB department...
I can get a very corona-looking vray image by using the curves controls in the vray vfb Something along the lines of the image attached, Note the large boost to mids and slight toe to simulate the filmic shadows control of corona.

another example. Side by side. No correction and curves applied. Curve attached.

V-Ray is lacking good tone mapping. I am looking forward to the new VFB, which apparently will have much more options to get a nice looking image straight of the renderer. I am tired of PS and I avoid it where I can.
