Hello,
i found out today that when i use BF caustics withtou using a photon mappin method, i get really very faint direct light behind windows when compared to not using caustics.
I uncheck "affect shadows" in all my glass materials and make sure my sun caustics radius covers the whole scene.
Then i set the sun caustics to 5000 and multiplier to even somethign as big as 100, but still very faint direct light.
Is there any mistake i am doing? I want to avoid using caustics with generated photon map therefore i am only using bruteforce.
I have triple glazing panels in my windows but also my pool water doesnt show signs of any caustics
Its very strange.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Martin
