  • Instances to VrayProxy ?

    Hello,

    I received a scene with a lot of instances objects scattered in a big surface.
    They are based on 4 initial objects.
    If I was the autor of this scene, I will certainly have done 4 Vrayproxy of those objects that I I will have scattered at the end

    Anyway, can someone tell me How can i transform all those instances in VrayProxy ?

    You could convert one instance to a Vray proxy and use the Object Replacer from the Soulburn Scripts. The Object Replacer works with Vray Proxys, can produce instances and can keep position, rotation and scale of the replaced objects.

      You can also do this quickly using the Track View : select the new object, right-click>Copy then select one of your instanced objects, right-click>Paste. Make sure you check Replace all instances. Voila.
