  • VFB behavior

Hi! I have a couple of questions about the vray frame buffer and its behavior. First, when maximizing the frame buffer window on a monitor/screen, and then if you hit render, the window automatically minimizes again to fit the render only. Is this planned behavior, and why? Are there any workarounds to keep it maximized once it's maximized?

Secondly, the scrollbar in the dropdown list holding the render passes is seriously bugging me. Again, are there any reasons why it's done with scrolling, and how can I get back the good old dropdown showing all renderpasses without the need to scroll?

    Thank you!

Bumping this. No-one, at least from chaos group chiming in on this, especially the last case?

It might be worth reinstalling because i don't have the first problem at all, I can keep the window at any size I want and it sticks to it.

The scroll on the dropdown still persists in next update 2. Is there anything I can do to remove the need for scrolling through the renderpasses?

I'm not sure what you mean. I get the whole list of render elements, without any scrollbar at all. Even with dozens of multimattes etc.

No answer for the first question sorry... about the second maybe it's a problem with the resolution setting for Win10? Do you scale at any percentage the text?

                Hello,

Also about the second issue - what is your Max version? There are some slight differences in that regard in different versions of Max.

                Best regards,

I have a scrollbar too, isn't that the desired behaviour? Never even thought about it. Why would you be bothered with it, you can easily scroll through it with your mouse wheel without even opening it.
