Force VRay to return environment

Hey folks,

Without pictures this could be a tricky one to get your heads around, so I'll just try and keep it as simple as possible...

I'm trying to render a logo that I've modelled in 3D, however there are (back) faces that I'd like to simply "vanish" from the render and just return the environment colour. Is this possible?
