Colour settings question

Hi all,
I'm have an image sequence (16bit tif) that I'm importing and using in a VrayLightMtl, mapped on to a plane, there are no lights active and I'm rendering just the view port. I've rendered out the sequence in the same format 16bit tif and the imported and rendered images don't match when brought into Photoshop, any ideas as to why there is a colour/brightness difference?

Can you show us what's the difference and also send us 3dsMax scene with a few of those .tiff files for investigation?
