flythrough mode

was wondering..the flythrough mode in light cache... is it meant for secondary bounces, or can it be used for primary and secondary, with good results?

also i remember reading somewherre that the new version fixes a problem relating to the lightcache not improving on settings above 1000... is this true? great if so coz that was always my main problem with lightmapping, could never improve on the blurry result...

I dont think you will ever get a super sharp result from lightcache in first bounce. if you use it as you would Photons and distrubute the light through the scene and use that as your second bounce and QMC or Irr as your primary bounce.
