Hi I was hoping someone could help me out in getting more consistent results with VRAy Next GPU
I am in the process of working on trying to develop a workflow for myself to do jewelry rendering and justify the cost of buying or renting VRay Next but I’m running into 2 kinds of issues.
1 that the stones wash out far before the scene is bright enough. This is for online retail so the backgrounds are supposed to be white but doesn’t seem to come out like that. And when I use exclusion for lighting still seems lights reflect off the ground plane onto the item.
the 2nd is while round diamonds render pretty well the princess ones end up a lot darker and not refracted the right way for the cut. Also neither seems to catch the white speculation light across its table like it should.
if anyone can point me in the right direction to achieving quality and consistent results I’d appreciate it. Also seems scenes are a lot darker with GPU than CPU
Thanks in advance
