Hello,
The normals threshold of the irradiance map seems to be only affected by geometry normals, not e. g. by normal maps. Is this correct?
Is the GI calculation influenced by normal maps at all?
How are normal maps applied in V-Ray? Would they benefit from more GI samples where they introduce additional surface detail or are they simply changing the smooth GI-solution of the geometry surface?
