  • wireframe color as vrayusercolor

    hello,
i would like to render hi-res wireframe images of my models, kind of like what you see in the viewport
i was thinking of having a vrayusercolor reading the wireframe color

is that possible ? or any other way ?

    thanks!

Yep, just use an edgestex map in the opacity slot to get a wireframe of your mesh. And use a vrayusercolor in the diffuse slot to color that wireframe, then follow the instruction of morne: https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...ct-s-wirecolor

You'll see what the script adds to the user defined properties. Mind you that if you change the wirecolor you won't see the changes unless you remove the user defined properties first and run the script again (or you manually change the color in the code).

Thanks ! works Great ! (btw, colors does not appear in the VFB interactive render, but only in normal render), and doesn't seem to work in DR !
