  • difference between stored lighcache and PPT map?

whats the benefit of using a stored PPT map for secondary bounces as opposed to a single-frame lightcache map?
isn't it the same thing when used with the irradiance map for primary bounces?

I would imagine it is essentially the same thing but depending on how long you leave the PPT version, it will be a more refined version, Basically more samples will be taken if you let it.

There is no difference between a light cache computed in single-frame mode and in ppt mode.
