uncheck visible to reflection and visible to camera (right-click on object --> properties...)
You can contact StudioGijs for 3D visualization and 3D modeling related services and on-site training.

You could use a vraylight and tick "invisible" and "store with irradiance map", if it is just emitting colored light, even build a box with 6 instanced vraylights.
Or if you use a saved irradiance map, you can leave the box in your scene for calculation (better check "invisible to camera"), and then hide it when using the "from file" option.
        Hope this may help.
        greetings, Michael

Just tried it out myself - and it works! It really works! Looks like Vlado did the trick and you can now make objects emit GI while beeing invisible to reflections... Never saw this in a changelog, and that's one of the features i've always been waiting for! Great news, they did it again.

PS: Thomes, ich bin auch aus Stuttgart, kennen wir uns vielleicht?

Yeah, you can control GI visibility separately from the VRay Object Settings dialog.

              Best regards,
              Vlado
