      thx natty for your reply

glass mat is pretty simple, white color for diffuse/reflec/refract with 0,01 fog and fresnel refl checked IOR refl 1,6 and IOR refr 1,01

EDIT: i also just tried with default egz vrayglas but without luck

You are right natty, but with "fresnel reflection" checked it would be trasparent though

You can try to make a box with glass mat ahead a teapot and to put a jpg env, try to render

A couple of render on what i'm talking about:

          without glass mesh:

and with glass mesh unhidden and pretty defalut glass mat:

Until today I ever used the same glass mat to do my window, so a) something has changed (and i don't know) b) it's a bug

It looks like you have 'Override Max Reflection / Refraction' checked under VRay's environment tab. Just a thought........

                  DanielBrew, thanks!!!!!
I unchecked refl/refr in vray override and glass now works

... but now i would like to know if this is a bug or it works like it wolud be

thats exactly how its supposed to work. stick your texture in the override slot and should be fine as well.

It's not a bug, that's the way it's meant to work I think.
