  • questions about self illum and lightcache

ok...i know that the output map doesn't work with lightcache.
GI multiplier higher than 1 also isn't good.
what about the vray light material? is it ok to use it with lightcache?
my problem with it is that it burns out bitmaps if i set the multiplier higher than 1.
anyone knows a good way to create some bit-mapped glowing panels in a room, without messing up the lightcache?

VRayLightMtl is ok to use; for your particular situation you can do this: create one set of panels with VRayLightMtl with multiplier of 1.0, so that they look normal, and then put another set of panels, invisible to the camera, but with proper multipliers, in front of the them - these would generate the actual GI.
