Suggestion: General forum or unlock all forums for all users

I keep reading posts on other Chaos Group forums and have ideas how to solve their issue but I do not have access to their forum, so they lose out. This seems counter productive. Maybe we could have a Global General forum for generic posts or just allow users to write into any forum.

For instance there is one post in the Phoenix forum from a guy asking about a high powered shower animation. I have some ideas how to achieve that without using a hammer to crack a nut but cannot discuss it so his post is left with 0 replies.

I think everyone should be able to post anywhere. Otherwise you need to get someone's attention some other way, then move the discussion to a general forum. Way too much effort
