  • vraymetaballs in GPU..?

it seems it doesnt work at all.

since this seems the case, any other method to get my particle based drips to render in gpu?

im guessing frost, but thats quite an expense for one small part of one job.

i also need to render some tyflow vrayinstanced geometry.. few million geospheres. that too appears not to work on gpu.. any workaround there?

i could export as prt, then load back in to something which does work with gpu..?

ths job is begging for gpu rendering.. loads of very fine geometry detail, refraction, and motion blur.. its taking forever to render on cpu.

Support for Metaballs in V-Ray GPU has been added in our to do list and we will increase the priority of it.
Regarding the TyFlow. It looks like the VRay instancing is grayed out, when switching to V-Ray GPU. It will be better to contact tyFlow support about this.
Will do some tests and if we found a workaround, we will notify you.

For V-Ray GPU, we need to handle the instancing on our side. We will have to figure out what's the best way to do it together with the tyFlow developers.
