  • V-Ray Next Benchmark out now

We’ve just updated V-Ray Benchmark to V-Ray Next, so you can see how your hardware handles our smartest and fastest rendering technology to date.

In V-Ray Next Benchmark, you’ll also find the following cool new features:

    - A revised UI, to make it easier to run and simpler to see your results
    - The ability to test V-Ray Next GPU hybrid rendering on CPU and GPU
    - You can also select which GPU the benchmark will use, if you’re lucky enough to have more than one
    - Two brand new test scenes optimized to take your hardware to its limits
    - The format of website results has changed from time to points, which makes it easier to compare different hardware combinations

V-Ray Next Benchmark is available to download now.

We’re looking forward to seeing who can top the leaderboard!

Is there any way to use DR in this? How does someone have 112 cores in one computer? haha

CLI (stands for command-line-interface) is mean to be used from command line/terminal. For example this is handy with automated tests/scripts.

There is no way to run the benchmark in DR. To get 112 threads, you can dual-socket computer with two of these

And there are 4 socket systems with this CPU, so 224 thread , but could only run windows server
The benchmark is getting very popular, we will see more crazy scores soon

One runs with a Command Line Interface (ie. in a "dos" shell), the other with a windows GUI.
