  • environment overrides broken in NEXT?

ive put a background plate in my render set to screen projection.

as usual, i set the gi/reflection and refraction overrides to black so the (bright yellow) background doesnt affect my render....

it quite clearly still affects my render!

this is on CPU so its not any Gpu wierdness.

appears to be related to "matte for refl/refr. on ground plane.

when its enabled , Max environment shows in reflections etc, even if its overriden in vray render settings.

i would imagine that setting should respect the overrides in the scene?

I'm not quite sure what is happening in your scene; can you post an example? Mattes are always a bit special.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

i dont have time to share a scene at the moment, but basically, if "matte for reflections/refractions" is on for the groundplane, wherever the groundplane is visible in reflections, it shows the max environment map. even if i have an override on in vray. everywhere where scene is reflecting directly background, i get the correct override effect.
