is the latest driver they recommend switching to ok for vray? if its not been tested thoroughly yet, might be good to get that one to the front of the queue. (q:does the latest one still allow more than 2 nvlink geforce cards to share ram? )

So far driver 430 has not shown any signs of instability, so it should be alright to switch to it. However we would like to test it a bit more before we commit to update the recommended driver page with it.
I am not sure whether the latest driver supports more than 2 NVlink GeForce cards

430 has been downright horrible for my setup, i am reverting to 418.
Nothing to do with rendering, mind you, plain and simple OS messiness, what with my three display ports, the 5k monitor which wants 2 of those, and P states.
It's an old issue, now compounded (one will send the GPU to 100% occupancy as the monitor stands by. The new bug in the latest 430 will freeze windows as the display turns back on, forcing a system reboot.), which had gone away with 419.
Oh my luck.

Oh wait. So, it's a bit more nuanced apparently, than i expected: If you have a non-quadro, and i read this right, the issue is with the 430, prior to 430.64, NOT the 419.
The 419 is for Quadros and NVSs only.
Here's the table.
I stand to be corrected if anyone has more solid info on this.
