Sys Crash has taken out Max 7! Will Reinstall = Reauth Vray?

I had a system, hard crash that has made Max 7 unable to start! If I reinstall Max will that mean that I will need to go through Re-authorizing Vray again?

Any help is much appreciated! I have a Monday deadline....!

Latest beta builds will not require re-authorization if you reinstall 3dsmax, since the VRay authorization is independent of the 3dsmax one.
