  • VRSCENE in viewport

    Hi All!
it was nice to see some of you during Total Chaos!

Just a quick question about .vrscene.
Is there any way to have a preview in viewport of the full mesh?

Maybe this is more a "wishlist" item but just wondering if there is any possibility to have the same controls as per proxy (box, faces, full...)

    Thanks
    Ale

There isn't a way to preview the full .vrscene in the viewport.

      Hi Aleksandar
      thanks for the info!

Then please consider this a real "wishlist" item

This would be really useful since we have a big scene composed by many smaller scene that we are considering as xref.
We would like to avoid using xref since it's a feature that is not so stable in 3dsmax and substitute them with all vrscene files.

      Many thanks for the consideration.

xRef objects are tricky, but xRef scenes should be heaps better (provided, of course, that all you do is reference them in.).

          Hi Lele

sorry I didn't mentioned that but I'm talking exclusively of XrefScene.
But this feature is still not fully stable in 3dsmax and some (many) times we lose the link to the xref file or the scene appears empty even when the xref still appear linked.
Have tried to use the Autodesk forum to talk about this problems but it doesn't work well like THIS great forum!!!

          Thanks!
