  • Standalone V-Ray Image Editor?

I did a bit of digging but could not find if this exists or not. Is there a standalone version of the VFB which can open .vrimg files, similar to the Corona Image Editor? vrimg2exr doesn't fit what I'm looking for. :/
    Thanks!

The ProEXR plugin from https://www.fnordware.com/ProEXR/ supports vrimg so you can edit them in Photoshop.

Thanks for sharing that Mark, definitely useful to at least bring in passes easily from .vrimg files, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking to be able to still edit Lens Effects, color corrections, do A/B comparison, etc. in just a plain standalone executable without having to open Max and the VFB.

We might look into that in the future, but we don't have an equivalent to the Corona image editor right now. You will need to open 3ds Max and load your images there. If you need to process animations, this can be scripted (relatively) easily using the vfbControl() MaxScript command.

        Best regards,
        Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
