V-Ray Standalone IPR?

Hello,

I could not find an option for it in the help output for vray.exe so I'm asking here:

Is it possible to run the standalone renderer in an "IPR" mode? I want to be able to change the vrscene file while the standalone renderer is rendering so it picks up the changes immediately without having to reload textures and whatnot.
Is this possible?

This is not possible with V-Ray Standalone itself (it is strictly a command-line batch renderer), but it is possible to do this through the V-Ray AppSDK. The Python binding of the AppSDK is currently bundled with V-Ray Next for Maya (even though it doesn't technically have anything to do with Maya itself) - we can set you up to play with it if you like?
