  • Vray Denoiser standalone not showing the render elements

I am currently testing out denoiser in vray next update 2.

I am having a problem getting the standalone application to show me all the channels that i chose to be denoised. in vray i have all the render elements that need Denoised currently checked denoise* on needed render elements. when I render the animation to an exr and open it in standalone there are only two channels rgb and alpha listed and not the other i have chosen like GI\Reflection. I have the denoiser render element currently checked only to make the render elements and not denoise after render Am i missing something?

How do you save the EXR?
Saving from the V-Ray raw file output will surely save all channels (or it's a bug.) while saving with max's file output will need for a checkbox to be checked, or it'll just save RGBA.

I advice you to reset your maxstart.
I have had the same problem which was solved after deleting the maxstart.
