  • Environment behind Vray glass black

Hi all first time posting in here.

I've been having an issue with glass for a while now so thought best to sign up in here and see if i can get an answer.

I'm using a gradient ramp as an environment background with vraymtlwrapper for a floor to get the seamless background. The issue is with glass, it always renders black. I've messed around with all sorts of settings but need help. Any comments most welcome it's driving me mad.

    Thanks

From what I see, you have your Reflection/Refraction environment override set to black - either turn the override off or use the gradient ramp map in its map slot.

Best to send the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look. Mention this thread as well.

Edit: Nevermind, one possible solution was already posted.
