Snow generator

Hi guys,
I feel like I've seen a topic like this before but search doesn't find anything. Is there a way to easily create snow over an exterior scene? Some houses with gardens.
Tried a simple generator I found online but it gave weird results on some objects and I would have to apply it to each object separately. Also tried a tutorial with particle systems but it was incredibly slow on a test scene, so it would be impossible on the real one I guess. This isn't a client request so I never modeled the scene covered with snow, but more of an idea that I would like to try in case there is a rather quick and simple way. Non free plugins are also an option if they deliver. I found one but not sure if it does entire scenes, and saw no user comments about it so skipped it for now.

There is polysnow and snowflow, but i wouldnt expect either to be a simple one click and done solution.

If it was for a personal project i'd personally have a crack with tyflow, but thats definitely not the quick or easy route.
There's also forest pro - https://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/m...th-forest-pack
if you dont have frost you can use the tymesher from tyflow for free.

Cool thank you for your suggestions. I'll check them out. Hopefully there's a workflow video somewhere so I see what they do.
