  • PhoenixPrtReader -> VrayInstancer: can I use the color channel?

    I've been searching for a while but couldn't come up with anything remotely addressing this.
    I exported a PRT file from houdini (using a plugin) and I'm loading it into 3dsMax via the Phoenix PRTreader. Then I use the VrayInstancer to get my instance geo onto these points. So far so good. As you can see in the image below, I also exported a Color that I would like to use as a tint for my instances. However, I can't seem to find any way to use that color in my shader? Am I missing something or is this not supported? This would be a tremendous help.

    Sorry to bump this thread but I'm a bit stuck and need to decide if I have to go a completely different route.

      Hey,

      Thanks for reporting that, though I'm afraid this is not supported currently. I will log it as a feature request, but I can't say when we will be supporting that.
