  • Changed camera view, then rendered from VFB, it rendered the previous camera view, why?

First I render a camera view. I am in maximized view.
Then I exit maximized view, pick another camera view and render from within VFB.

The VFB renders the previous camera view.
If however, I press the render-button in the 3dsMax toolbar, then it works correctly.

Am I doing anything wrong, like, a setting that I missed, or is it the VFB that isn't working correctly?
    Kindly,
    Haider

As the name suggests (hover the mouse over the teapot in the VFB), it will render the last view. This is how VFB works so no problem here. Cheers!

Lock your camera in the general settings if you want a more predictable behaviour (but you'll have to change it manually before each render, once locked.).

yeah, but it seems like @garipodelu said - the button in VFB renders the last view, no matter what you locked under the General Settings.

The button on the VFB is identical to the max's function "render last", so it behaves exactly like that (or the F9 key.).
I'm not sure why it wouldn't render the camera you set in the render settings.
It's as quirky as max's command is, no more, no less.
