our potential client wants to be able to render our max scenes in house, and they use c4d.
i thought vrscene might be good for this..
however my tests on an old project immediately showed some limitations (softboxes on lights maybe, object properties/gi send/recieve.. hard to say.. it renders different, but diagnosing is almost impossible it seems)
also, on re-importing the vrscene to max.. first, animation is not updated in viewport -seems to update in render.. and second, i get no camera imported?
so, is there a definitive, complete list of what i should avoid using in max if i want a proper export to work?
and can i get cameras/viewport animation working?
last problem of course, is my test export of an animated cloth object (200 frames) was nearly 8GB.
i doubt if this can be resolved though.
