  • Strange shadow when using PhoenixFD Ocean

As you will see on the image below I have a strange shadow appear on the left side.
This is visible only if I turn off VraySky.
The only way to get rid of the shadow was by making camera's lens 32mm or more.
It seems like the infinite Ocean somehow depends on the camera's FoV.
Also I want to add, the Shadow appears its on the side of the Sun.
If I move the Sun to the right side the shadow will appear there.

Any ideas on how to correct it besides camera's FoV?

    Hey,

Indeed the ocean is built based on the camera view. You will need to increase the Off-Screen Margin. You can find more about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...endering-Ocean
Note that the value is a percentage of the image size so try to increase it a little like 5 or 10 as a start.
