  • Web 360 Walkthrough

    Hi all,

I'm trying to find out if there is a service online that I can create a 360 walk through of an interior space using cubemap/panoramic renders out of vray and then have it hosted so my clients can embed it in their website. Think google street view type walk through, somewhat like what Matterport does, but with rendered cubemaps rather than captured real spaces.

    Cheers!

I too need this. How do you guys do it? Also is it possible to make them for VR, so like two spheres rendered automatically or?

The only way to do Google Street view like VR-tours (so without waypoint you need to click to go to another pano) is MotivaCG's Layama. There are other solutions supporting depthmaps (like KR-pano and Everpano) but I have not tried them and compared them with Layama. To my knowledge the online TheViewer does not support depthmaps.

For free services i've been using ROUND ME, works fine with hotspots to virtually make the walkthrough from space to space.

Recently we have been testing VR headset, and for this we are using ORBIX 360
