  • Issues with Refraction/Opacity and Render Elements

    I didn't manage how to deal with refraction and/or opacity in 3dsmax and some render elements like world position. the tricky situation is that they do not provide the world coordinates of the object neither the object behind it but something like a "mix" and that weird for composition and detect what objects are in front of others.

    Presuming your refractive objects affect all channels, this is a known issue with the World Coordinates channel (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-9293). Are there other passes behaving similarly? Maybe you could share some details on what you're trying to achieve so we can try to find a workaround?
