I'm thinking about slowly moving over to TX mapped versions of my larger assets in line with the advice on keeping memory consumption down, but it appears to have adverse effects when it comes to opacity. I assume this is because it's choosing a lower res-version of the tiled textures thus degrading the sharpness of the edge. Would the obvious choice here be to us the original high res jpg as the opacity, and TX for everything else.
