Vray 3.7 for Max 2021

Just a short question, will there be a Vray 3.7 version for Max 2021 or do I need to upgrade to vray next?

Short answer - no.

Since we are in official beta for V-Ray 5 you have few options:

• buy a Next license (new, not an upgrade from 3) and you'll get V-Ray 5 upgrade for free when it comes out
• go for an annual subscription and you'll never have to worry about version support
• take the risk and install 3.7 for 2020 on your Max 2021 (should work in theory, but I don't guarantee) and stay without all the goodies that we implemented for the past 4 years

I installed 3.7 for 2020 on Max 2021. Only thing I notíced was, that 2020 version was uninstalled. Same goes to Phoenix FD 3. I updated Phoenix earlier this week and I will upgrade V-Ray later.

Actually the suggestion to buy a new license for V-Ray was good if I can transfer the old 3.7 license to my laptop and leave it there.

Is the 3.7 license on a dongle? Either way you can use both licenses on different machines since it's not an upgrade and you will have it active independent from the Next / 5 one.
