  • exclude an object from receiving lens effects?

    Hi

Just checking .... there's no way to exclude an object from receiving lens effects?

The threshold setting should do that, as the effects only appear on those pixels of/above that value. Hopefully that's what you need

Unfortunately I need something like Object or Material ID I can use to exclude completely, like the native max effects.

The Lens Effects work as a post-effect and depend on the image's pixel values. Maybe you could do the following: Render your Beauty without Bloom and Glare, afterward disable the lights, on which you do not wish to have lens effects, and set the Lens effects mode to "Render Element Only". Render again.and compose the Glare pass from the second rendering with the original RGB.

          Thanks.
No plans for an include/exclude function using ObjectID etc?

              Oh well. Never mind.
              Composite it is then!
