  • vrscene object motion blur broken..

ive noticed that if i import a model as a vrscene, attach it to a dummy and animate the dummy moving, i get no motion blur on the vrscene objects. normal objects are blurred correctly.

camera motion blur works as expected.

This does not currently work in V-Ray for 3ds Max, indeed. I'll speak to our developers to see if we could implement it as a functionality. For now, try using .vrmeshes through a VRayProxy instead.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. seems a fairly basic feature of a geometric object to function with motion blur.

unfortunately the model in questions is a fully worked up car model with dozens of maya of shaders, so "using vrmesh instead" isnt really an option.

I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-10153) for developer analysis. We'll see what we can do.
