Rendering 3.7 scene on Vray5 renderfarm

I've been told by my render farm that there may be issues doing this. Are there any known issues or are they just covering their backs?

I am using Tyflow for part of the project so slightly limited in my choice of render farm

It's a fairly generic statement, unfortunately.
There will be some shading difference in some case (f.e. if you used the unlocked glossiness, not supported anymore.), but if you're not comparing two versions 1:1 for minute differences, you may be able to come away with a satisfactory result without too much trouble at all.
The ultimate proof is testing, however.
See if they offer that, maybe for a frame every 10, at half resolution, or something along the lines, for cheap or free.
