How to get soft spot with disk light (like a spot light?

Hi,
I'm using with a rect light on "disk" mode.
I would like to focus the light (use it directional), but not with an unnatural sharp hard edge.

How can I achieve this?
Attached screenshot, please have a look at the hard shadow on the ground, regardless which "shadow bias" I take.

I tried but I can't reproduce that - all working as expected. Maybe it's a hidden light doing it?

Check your Cuttoff setting upder Sampling. It's very useful to speed up scenes with lots of lights but can create a harsh border where the light intensity ends if set too high.
