  • Controlling the IPR undersampling in the CPU renderer?

There's this option in the GPU renderer that allows you to enable or disable the undersampler and control its levels. Is there such option for the CPU renderer? I can't find it myself. Sometimes for me it's useful to turn it off because the chunky pixels are distracting when I want to better compare changes in materials. Meaning, I want to see the direct transition from one frame to another without the mosaic effect.

I asked for this previously during the beta .
I hope it can be added to CPU too .

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

The undersampling currently cannot be controlled in V-Ray CPU, as it depends on the image sampler settings:
In the case where Light Cache is used, undersampling is solved depending on the speed that LC is calculated, and otherwise a fixed value is used. Can you let me know whether you are using LC?

That being said, we will consider possibilities to introduce the option to control undersampling in CPU as well.

Thanks for the explanation, Nikoleta. Yes, I'm using BF+LC.
