  • Question in composition VFB 5

How do I see the end result of the composition that includes all the layers (exposure, curves, etc.) at the same time I make changes in lightmix. What I saw is that when I make changes in lightmix I see only the effect of it and not the effect of the other layers .
    Thanks

I mean the addition of more renderelements like globalilumination, reflaction, etc. How can I see them together with the lightmix. Can I see the effect of them all together while changing the lightmix? The only option I saw was to move the lightmix to composite

Another thing I noticed is that the lookup table is not saved in the EXR file

        Hello,

You've correctly noticed that if you want LightMix together with other elements - you have to convert the LightMix to Composite and then you can add other elements.
As for the lookup table saving - the lookup table layer has an option - "Save in image" - is it checked?

        Best regards,
        Yavor

          Thanks Yavor for the clarification
Do you think it is not better to be able to see the effect of the lightmix together with all the other elements without having to composite it?
As for the lookup table- yes. I checked the "save in imag" option. When I save the image as a jpg file I see its effect. But if I save it as an exr file I do not see its effect, is it backed with the rgb element?

I'm not sure what do you mean - if you don't go to compositing how would you specify which channels and how should they be added together ?

As for the saving - if you save to multichannel file format and you have denoiser/lens effects - then all corrections including the denoiser and lens effects go to the effects result channel.
