  • 3ds Max "stealing" one of my CPU cores when doing nothing

I noticed a strange behavior with 3ds Max 2021. Sometimes when I don't do absolutely anything in Max, it is constantly using 100% of one of my cores. Only way to stop this is to restart Max, but after a while it happens again. Has anyone else seen this? Screenshot below.

Yep, I posted about this before. Never got a response. Restarting Max fixes it, but WTH causes it?

Sometimes Max can sit open for days without this issue. Other times it will do it after twenty minutes.

In one instance that I debugged, this was caused by some Substance DLL and I reported it to Autodesk, There might be other situations though.
