Not directly. However, you can bake a VRayExtraTexMap, in which you plug a VRayMultiSubTex (based on face material ids) that holds VRayColor nodes for each ID.
Thanks Aleksander. We have tried this approach now but donĀ“t really get the result we want. Seems like 3ds Max calls two different things "Material ID", at least that is how I read it. The ID I want to bake is the one highlighted in attached screenshot. Is that possible?
