strange light artifact

hi, has any one got any idea whats causing this? and if so,how do i fix it?

Do you mean the bright areas in the corners? I don't think they are artifacts, it's just the way the GI works. If you don't like the result, you can either make the material a little darker, or reduce the secondary GI multiplier.

that was a quick reply! thanks vlado,i actually wanted the material lighter,ill try dropping the secondary gi.
