  • lock interactive rendering to viewport

    Hi
Can I lock the frame buffer interactive rendering to a particular viewport so that it doesn't switch when for example I move the camera in a different viewport?

    Thanks

Hi - yes, you can. Open up the Render Setup window > View to Render > lock the desired view with the Lock button, as indicated here.

Notice that Max is known to misbehave, sometimes, with that lock.
If it happens, unlock, press the Render button in the render panel, stop the render, lock again.

I'm pretty sure the last time I tried it worked so that's what likely happened.
