  • save vrprog from frame buffer?

Is it possible to save a .vrprog directly from the frame buffer? I've set a large render off overnight and come in to discover it's only half completed (bucket rendering).

t would be annoying to waste all the completed buckets, and equally as annoying to piece it together from half of another image in photoshop.

Sorry to say, no. The .vrimg (or .vrprog if using progressive rendering) is written in the course of the rendering (when resumable rendering is active), it acts as information storage from which to eventually resume. To minimize time loss, stitching the two rendering sequences may be your best bet.
