  • Blur vertex color with Map node

    Does anyone know how to blur the vertex colors in the Map node?

    I can add blur to my model with the Verttex paint modifier, but my model is a V-Ray Proxy node. I don't want to convert to Proxy every time to adjust the blur.

    The object has multiple vertex color channels and uses one vertex color channel as a mask for the material. I want to add blur to the Vertex Color of the mask and mix it smoothly.

    This object does not have UVs. It is difficult to set UV because of the large number of vertices. (ZBrush polypaint object)

    Blurring procedural textures, including vertex colors, proves to be very computationally expensive.

    There is no 3D software with a simple Blur node.
    That's because it's impractical to implement.

    I hope it will be helpful to someone.
