  • Vray Sun, in space scenes

    Hi,
is there a way to turn eveything off that makes the sun act like the viewer is on the earth?
I.ie. coloring depending on angle and beeing off below the horizon.
I'm working on a space scene and would love to use it.
German guy, sorry for my English.

But why not use a simple disk light, then, if you don't need the sky?

Yea I guess thats what I'll do.
Its a bit more fiddly with the distance to the scene, brightness and directionality settings to get it right.

Could just use a standard direct light, then use a self illuminated sphere/disc for the sun...adjust size to needs, link to light..set warp speed etc

Ah, yes, then a directional should do the job, as it's infinte too.
Just set the shadows to v-ray shadows and if you want them area, fiddle with the radius.
