Hi there......with bitmaps.....I am rendering an image and the roof bitmap is overly bright......how do I lessen the light on the bitmap in vray or in the material dialog thingy
Goto Vray render settings dialogue - System - Object Settings - receive GI and turn down the multipier until you get the result you want. You can additionally goto the Output rollout in the object's material settings in the material editor and turn down the RGB value there. However I would use the solution I stated first, first, as turning the RGB value in the output settings will effect the colour of the bitmap not just the light it receives.
