Is there a limit to the number of dome lights you can have in your scene ?

    No, no limit.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Hi Peter, that's interesting because I imported a number of them using Cosmos and I got a fatal crash to the Autodesk error dialog box.

Software, hardware as per my email sig

Hm, I've managed to crash it once, but after that I couldn't. Any observations why does it happen on your side? Also is it always crashing on your scene?

          Hi Peter,

I’ll take a look once back at my computer and get back to you.

What I was trying to do was import ALL of the HDRI’s into a single scene so they were all there ready for me to explore and eventually choose from. I’d imported around 30 and when I tried to test my scene, it’d crash.

Maybe a bit ambitious to import all, but your comment about there not being a limit seems promising.

          Many thanks.

Maybe you've ran out of memory?

              Hi Peter,

That’s what I suspected and why I asked if there is a limit - so when you said no, I was impressed

I was watching the memory both in the stats in the VFB and within the Task Manager and both were not reporting an issue with memory capacity getting close to being exceeded.

I will monitor further and get back to you.

              Many thanks
