  • How to increase the light intensity without changing the bloom effect?

Hi guys, I ran into this issue. In my scene, I have to make the light much stronger to provide enough lighting. But then its bloom will completely flood the image. I still want the rest of the weaker light to have the same bloom as this much stronger light. Is it possible? Or do I have to do it in post, which is very difficult because I can't render the bloom effect only for some lights but disable the bloom for some other lights.

    Thank you.

hide the strong light from the camera and show something else instead.
what kind of light is it?

Depending on which build of vray you're using, you could try using "clamp" for your lighting, it'll possibly change the look of the render a tiny bit but you should be able to cut the bright values of your pixels to the same level, that's driving the bloom effect so it should behave.
